I run Ride On Time Lincolnshire.  Being a mum to three beautiful and active children means we have tried and tested lots of ride on vehicles and my children have had hours of entertainment whizzing round the garden. I have loved watching them develop their imaginations whilst happily and safely exploring their environments through play.

 

I have attended many different types of children’s sessions and know how important it is for parents and carers to find one where they feel comfortable and welcome and where their children can experience excitement and fun whilst learning. I also know how stressful hosting children’s parties can be, but I love that Ride on Time is the perfect, stress free way of entertaining multiple young children! 

 

My whole career has been in education and for the past 16 years I have worked as an Assistant Educational Psychologist in the special education sector supporting children and young people with various types of neurodiversity and SEND. My experience includes facilitating play sessions, emotional regulation support and adopting relational approaches and Trauma Informed Practice. I am also Makaton trained to level 4 and Ride on Time Lincolnshire is registered as Makaton Aware which means we are part of a network of inclusive spaces which aim to break down communication barriers and promote accessibility for all. I also have lived experience of Autism through one of my wonderful sons. My passion and commitment to supporting children with SEND and their families led to our very exciting collaboration with a local Makaton Tutor and the launch of our inclusive communication play sessions in March 2025. These sessions are very special and I am excited to see them grow.
